​At The Vanjen Group, UPS, battery maintenance and thermal imaging is included 
in all our Preventative Maintenance Service Plans and Agreements. 

​Your Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system is a complex and highly technical piece of electronic equipment. Certain components, such as capacitors and batteries, have a very specific shelf life and when ignored can lead to failure in your UPS System. 

Poor battery condition is the most common source of UPS systems issues in both single phase and three phase UPS battery backup systems. 

We manage your battery systems under our preventative maintenance service plans and issue reports of their detailed condition. In addition to our standard service, our service technicians will provide performance-based recommendations as well. You will always receive a Service Report with a full review of the performance levels of your UPS, including environmental conditions, thermal scanning and any abnormal signs that point to early deficiency detection.

​The best way to minimize downtown and repair cost is to take the proactive approach of putting your Critical Power equipment under a Maintenance Plan to ensure uptime and reliability. 


Our Battery Service Plans include, but are not limited to:

• Testing in accordance with IEEE 450 (Flooded) IEEE 1188 (VRLA)
• Inspect, test and re-torque inter-tier, inter-rack and output cable connections in accordance with the manufacturer’s re-torque specifications.
• Perform voltage, and resistance checks on each jar
• Check for and Prevent Thermal Runaway

Our Preventative Maintenance Service Agreements encompass a comprehensive scope of work and options including, but not limited to extended warranties, battery resistance, battery trending, inspection, remedial and emergency service.

SPECIALIZED LOAD BANK TESTING & POWER QUALITY SURVEYS

Our Specialized Load Bank Testing services are designed to efficiently and effectively test your critical power systems in real-life power outage scenarios in order to ensure that your critical power systems are capable of supporting your network’s electrical load during the unfortunate event of a power outage. Our expert Load Bank 
Testing technicians will perform a test on your system in a non-intrusive manner and generate a detailed report for your review.

In addition to our Specialized Load Bank Testing Service, we offer Power Quality Surveys that provide you with a comprehensive site analysis of your critical power infrastructure. Identify problem areas or potential problem areas with a comprehensive and detailed Power Quality Survey report.

INFRARED THERMOGRAPHY

Infrared Thermography is one of the only tools in locating trouble spots before they become more serious problems. 
This service as a stand-alone service or part of our Preventative Maintenance Service Plans.

ADVANCED INFRARED TECHNOLOGY

At The Vanjen Group we use certified Infrared Thermography testing equipment, which we continuously calibrate and maintain to ensure industry standards and manufacture specifications. Our UPS and battery technicians are trained and certified to use Infrared Thermography equipment and perform Infrared Thermography services on your most critical backup power systems.

Our Infrared Thermography Services include, but are not limited to:

• Inspection and imaging of your UPS systems input breaker, output breaker, electrical panels and all associated equipment such as Power Distribution 
• Units, step down transformers and Maintenance Bypass Cabinets.
• Custom Reports of digital imaging of your electrical circuits and equipment that are emitting unusual or concerning temperature readings.
• Recording and reporting on the Infrared Thermography assessment of your system, which identifies any areas of concern discovered during the assessment of your system.
